Don't forget to...

chmod +s /sbin/mount.cifs

chmod +s /sbin/umount.cifs

...if you want to mount and unmount shares with CIFS. By default, browsing the network will not work with smb4k (or smb:/ via Konqueror). If you already know the IP address of the share, e.g. 192.168.1.54, you can `search' for that IP address in smb4k's Search Dialog, after which that share will then appear next time you press the `scan computer (refresh)' button on smb4k's network browser. Otherwise, you will need to punch some holes through the firewall.
