Fujitsu P1610 panel buttons

The fsc_btns and fjbtndrv driver projects can now be found at Sourceforge. Pre-compiled driver packages are available from Danny Kukawka's webpage and repository, but unfortunately have not been compiled for updated versions of the openSuSE kernel. Not to worry, the source RPM is also available, and can be used to both generate and install a binary RPM with the command...

rpmbuild -rebuild fsc_btns-1.21-1.1.src.rpm
Sadly, this is not enough, since no version of fsc_btns above 0.31 successfully detects the panel buttons. Version 0.31 of fsc_btns and fscd is available from the sourceforge site. At this time, however, it seems to cause problems with the Xorg system.

However, fsc_btns seems to work better if you use a newer version of the openSuSE kernel e.g. 2.6.25 or higher. Rotating the screen causes problems with KDE 3.5 however, unless I deliberately disable the external VGA output e.g. `xrandr -output VGA -off` from the console.
