KMail and GnuPG

I had Kmail and GnuPG working together properly before updating SuSE to 8.2, but after updating PGP did not work anymore. KMail kept on complaining that the supplied GnuPG password was incorrect, without even asking for the password in the first place! It turns out that SuSE 8.2/KMail 3.1 uses a different system of asking for GnuPG passwords, involving the use of gpg-agent. During the update process, SuSE automatically installed package 'newpg' (which contains gpg-agent), as well as package 'pinentry' (which contains the interface to gpg-agent).

Instructions for installing gpg-agent with KMail are on the Kmail website. Some modifications needs to be made...
